The Moffat Road Railroad Museum is OPEN to the public! There are 5 pieces of railroad equipment and the 1,100 sq. ft. Model Train Display, currently at the available for public viewing at the museum site next to the Kaibab Park ball fields in Granby. 555 Park Lane Granby, CO 80446

The Moffat Road Railroad Museum includes a 1905 all wood Passenger Car, the 1915 era railroad hand-cart shed from Hot Sulphur Springs, a 1940's M.O.W. Gang Car, a fully-renovated 1923 all wood CA/1 class UP caboose, a 1906 caboose, and the 1913 Denver & Salt Lake Railway Steam Derrick and boom car. The Derrick is a 285,000 pound behemoth that handled the train wrecks on the Moffat Road, the highest Standard gauge Railroad ever build in the United States, plus our year round O scale "CHRISTMAS TRAIN". At 1,100 sq.ft. it is the largest permanent Christmas train layout in a museum in Colorado and we are working on an addition. We also have a Visitor Center filled with historical artifacts and a gift shop. Our family train ride is expected to open late July 2021! Come see us at the Moffat museum!
