Winter Park & Fraser Chamber announces the return of Rendezvous Run For Independence

5K run/walk is part of the Chamber’s 4^th of July celebrations.

Winter Park, CO — The Winter Park & Fraser Chamber is pleased to announce the return of the Rendezvous Run For Independence, a 5-kilometer run/walk on Tuesday, July 4^th, 2023. The run/walk begins at 9:00 am at the Gondola Plaza at the Winter Park Resort, following along the Fraser River Trail until finishing at the Rendezvous Event Center in downtown Winter Park.

Race registration occurs in advance online and at the Winter Park Information Center on July 2^nd from 12 pm-4 pm, and July 3 from 9 am-4 pm. Race participants can pick up their bibs at registration on the days prior to the race (July 2 and 3), or on the morning of the race start at the Gondola Plaza at the Winter Park Resort. Refreshments, awards, and prize giveaways will be provided at the race finish at the Rendezvous Event Center. Race participants also receive a t-shirt, but t-shirts are limited, so register early to guarantee a t-shirt.

Parking for race participants is available at the Winter Park Resort’s Vintage parking lot, village parking garage, or North Bench lots. Parking will not be available at the Gondola Plaza. Participants can also get a ride from town to the resort on The Lift, the town of Winter Park’s free bus transit system.
