Sulphur Ranger District to host open houses

GRANBY, Colo. (Jan. 18, 2024) – The Sulphur Ranger District will host a bi-monthly open house from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on the first and third Thursday of every month, starting Feb. 1 at the Forest Service office in Granby. District Ranger Eric Freels and other Forest Service staff will be available to answer questions and talk about National Forest management and upcoming forest projects.

The Forest's information hub remains the best way to get immediate assistance from Forest Service specialists on any topic, from trip planning to passes and permits. To schedule an appointment or contact a specialist, email [email protected] or call 970-295-6600 and press 0 for assistance. Campground reservations and other permits can be found on recreation.gov. Items such as passes, maps and reservations will not be sold at the open houses.
