Nordic Centers for Skiing & Snowshoeing Grand County boasts some of the best Nordic offerings in Colorado. With three premier Nordic centers, miles of free trails with direct access to town and endless backcountry terrain, Grand County is known for having “more K’s and more days” than other destinations. Guests of the Grand Lake Nordic Center, located on the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park, delight in peaceful surroundings and regular moose sightings as they schuss around 35km of classic and skate skiing trails.
