Rocky Mountain Folk School offers year-round, hands-on learning experiences in traditional arts and crafts in the heart of Grand Lake, Colorado. Whether you’re visiting the mountains for a weekend or are a local looking to try something new, our classes invite you to slow down, learn a skill, and make something with your own hands.
Our classes are taught by experienced artists, craftspeople, and makers and include pottery and ceramics, woodworking, woodturning, leatherworking, silversmithing and jewelry making, and other traditional crafts. Classes range from beginner-friendly experiences to opportunities for those looking to develop existing skills.
