Taking Steps for Cancer’s Polar Plunge

Join us for Taking Step’s for Cancer’s 8th Annual Spirit Lake Polar Plunge on June 22, 2025! Fundraising teams, individuals, and volunteers will dive into the alpine waters of Grand Lake for a great cause.

Join us for the 8th Annual Spirit Polar Plunge. It’s a gathering of fundraising teams, individuals, and volunteers that plunge into the alpine waters of Grand Lake. The Pre-Party, starting at Noon, is hosted by Charlie’s Sports Bar and Grill with LIVE music and tacos! Competing fundraising teams, individuals, and sponsors get the opportunity to consort, grab a drink, get some food, and check out team uniforms or zany costumes before the plunge. At 2:00 PM, the Charlie’s festivities will end and the attendees will head off to the Gene Stover Park at Grand Lake waterfront for the 2:30 PM Spirit Polar Plunge.

You can be on a team or come solo! Want to Plunge or be a Chicken? Chickens can cheer on the Plungers from the Chicken Coop (no cold water involved).
