The opening ceremony features music and a message from a cancer survivor. Then imagine a crisp fall morning stroll, walk, or run around beautiful Grand Lake with over 200 others showing love for someone special to them. Along the 5K route you can read the many tribute signs purchased by family & friends for the many affected by cancer. The Taking Steps for Cancer fund is managed by Mountain Family Center. Following the 5K there is a luncheon provided by Carey Barnes and Grand County’s best and largest Live & Silent Auctions. Please join us for a moving and inspirational day. Registrations received after September 17th are not guaranteed T-Shirts or Bags. All proceeds support Grand County residents battling cancer. Volunteers needed!
