Adams Falls
Distance: 0.7 miles | Difficulty: Easy
The Adams Falls Trail is a great option for a quick hike or leisurely walk. Begin at the East Inlet Trailhead in Grand Lake and make your way to these rushing Colorado waterfalls. The total distance for this hike is just under a mile and has minimal elevation gain, making it great for all skill levels. If you prefer a longer trek, you can continue on the East Inlet Trail toward meadows and alpine lakes.
Snow Mountain Ranch Waterfall Trail
Distance: 2.5 miles | Difficulty: Easy
At 2.5 miles, the Waterfall Trail at Snow Mountain Ranch is especially popular with families. The trail is well-marked and offers hikers the chance to view wildflowers depending on the time of year. Once you reach the waterfall, make sure to snap a family photo. This trail is located at Snow Mountain Ranch and requires purchase of a day pass to access it.
Cascade Falls
Distance: 7.4 miles | Difficulty: Easy - Moderate
Beginning at the North Inlet Trailhead in Grand Lake, the hike to Cascade Falls offers visitors an opportunity for both hiking and horseback riding. The North Inlet Trail is part of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail and passes creeks and meadows on the way toward the multi-tiered waterfall. Cascade Falls is a photo-worthy sight, cascading through narrow chutes and over large boulders.
Granite Falls
Distance: 10.8 miles | Difficulty: Moderate
Located in Rocky Mountain National Park, the hike to Granite Falls begins at the Green Mountain Trailhead. Hikers will pass through forests and the largest meadow in the national park — Big Meadows. The photogenic Granite Falls at the end of the trail runs over granite rock and is a great place to rest and enjoy the area.
