Taste of the Rockies

The Taste of the Rockies candy shop has been sweetest spot in Grand County since it opened in 1939. The original owners found a factory along a mountain stream in Hot Sulphur Springs, where they transformed the rocks they saw there into souvenir rock candy, and the rest is history. Now, Taste of the Rockies makes of all varieties of candy from chocolate to rock candy and hard candy. Try some nostalgic treats from your childhood and relish in the memories.

Star Gazing at Devil's Thumb Ranch

3530 County Highway 83

Tabernash, CO 80478

Devil's Thumb Ranch is a highly regarded and environmentally friendly, year-round ranch, resort and spa that offers rustically upscale accommodations, fine dining and an array of outdoor and wilderness recreation activities both summer and winter. After a action-packed day of world-class nordic skiing or horseback riding, we suggest stargazing from a hot tub or on a moonlight deck. With miles of open space around and without the distraction of the outside world, you'll see the skies like never before.
