Colorado’s Historic Arapaho Valley Ranch Offering Weekday Special Through October 31

GRANBY, Colo., Sept. 5, 2025 – Arapaho Valley Ranch in Grand County, Colo. is offering a “Weekday Fall Special” featuring 15 percent discounts on stays of two or more nights in yurts, tipis, glamping tents and RV and tent campsites. Yurts are open year-round while the campsites, tipis and glamping tents close in early October, weather permitting. The special is available until the end of the month for yurts and until closing for the remainder of the accommodations.

Glamping tents, tipis and yurts include a camp kitchen box with various utensils as well as propane grills and stoves. All units have either drip coffee makers or presses.

Arapaho Valley Ranch also offers a variety of cabins open year-round.

“Fall is full of surprises around here, because the wildlife are active, the trees are quickly changing and the weather can be delightfully unpredictable, ranging from warm, sunny days to days with snow and rain,” said Hayden Hughes, ranch manager. “We advise our guests to come prepared for any weather, and if they happen to have forgotten certain essentials, they can usually find them in the Trading Post here.”

Studies have shown that fall is the favorite season for some 40 percent of people responding to polls with summer coming second at 24 percent.

Top reasons for travelers to visit Grand County are wildlife watching and to check out the fall foliage. It’s not uncommon for guests to see moose and elk near the ranch, in Rocky Mountain National Park and scattered throughout open spaces up and down the valley. Many will enter Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park, Colo. and drive Trail Ridge Road – typically open from Memorial Day Weekend until conditions dictate a fall closing – and exit the park in Grand Lake.
