5TH ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE TO SUPPORT MOUNTAIN FAMILY CENTER
GRAND COUNTY, CO – With excitement and enthusiasm, the Grand County Sheriff’s Office, Grand County Emergency Medical Services, Grand County Government in partnership with Middle Park Health and Mountain Parks Electric are participating in a friendly competition to help stock up our local food bank and fill Thanksgiving Meal Bags at Mountain Family Center in time for the holidays. The public is encouraged to support this mission by dropping off non-perishable food items to one of these offices. The food drive will begin Monday, October 13 and will end Friday, November 14.
Mountain Family Center offers many resources to those struggling financially in Grand County. Their main services include food pantries located in Kremmling, Granby and Fraser.
Food items needed for Thanksgiving Meal Bags: canned yams/sweet potatoes, canned corn, canned green beans, canned cream of mushroom soup, canned cranberries (whole or sauce), stuffing (bags or boxes), mashed potatoes (box or pouch), fried onions, gravy (packet or jar), marshmallows, and cake or brownie mix. Read the full list of requested items needed year-round at https://middleparkhealth.org/2025-food-drive.
