What fun is in store at the Moffat Road Railroad Museum?
– We have Colorado’s largest permanent Christmas model train display. This O scale layout is over 1,100 sq. ft.!
– Our Interpretive Center has an impressive steam locomotive with a working bell and whistle, a completely renovated wooden caboose, a passenger coach, a steam derrick, to name a few of the pieces.
– An HO scale prototype replica of the Moffat Road Railroad from East Portal to Craig, CO. The exhibit is a work-in-progress and now has a train running!
– Our Visitor Center & Gift Shop has an interactive train display, plus train books for all ages, toys, puzzles, and souvenir items.
