The museum currently has nine pieces of railroad equipment located at the Railroad Interpretive Center, including a 1913 steam derrick, 1905 passenger car being restored, a gang car, a fully-restored and curated 1923 all wood, red UP caboose, two other cabooses from the 1900’s, and a 1922 Shay steam locomotive with a working bell and whistle.
Additionally, they have two model train layouts, one being Colorado’s largest permanent O scale Christmas layout and the other a HO scale Moffat Railroad representation being built. There is also a Visitor Center & Gift Shop on-site.
