In this hands-on workshop, students will transform a natural gourd into a striking piece of art using a mix of carving, painting, and stone embellishment techniques. You’ll learn how to safely carve into the gourd’s surface, create decorative patterns, and enhance your design with paints and finishes.
A highlight of this class is incorporating stone elements—choose from a selection of synthetic stones or natural stones in a variety of colors to create a bold focal point. Students will also explore how to attach stones securely and integrate them into the overall design for a polished, professional look.
Whether you prefer a rustic, Western-inspired aesthetic or something more modern and colorful, you’ll leave with a completely unique piece that reflects your personal style.
