Kids Sewing

Location: RMFS Building – 315 Pitkin Ave, Grand Lake, CO Join us for a fun and educational sewing class where kids can learn to create their very own felt kitty! This class introduces beginning sewing techniques, perfect for young hands and budding crafters. Children will learn how to thread a large needle, tie knots, trace and cut patterns, and perform basic stitches. Our inclusive approach ensures that all ages and abilities are welcome. For those who need it, we offer plastic needle sewing to make the process even safer and more accessible. Through this engaging project, kids will develop fine motor skills, creativity, and confidence in a supportive environment.
