Beginners might want to start with an escorted tour above the timberline to enjoy the views from the Continental Divide, and kids can try out the smaller snow scooters under controlled track conditions.  Grand County boasts over a 1,000 miles of snowmobiling trails throughout the four towns.

Grand Lake

Grand Lake has earned the title of the "Snowmobile Capital of Colorado"™ with their extensive system of trails, play areas and hills to climb that provides something for every type of rider. Grand Lake consistently ranks in the top 10 for snowmobile destinations in the United States. There are 300 miles of trails, (150 of which are groomed) and hundreds of snowy playgrounds for riders of all abilities. You can legally ride down the streets of Grand Lake, and you can access trails from many of Grand Lake’s lodges, inns, hotels, cabins, bed and breakfasts and motels.

Granby

When the snow falls, Granby becomes a winter playground with groomed trails for snowmobiling. With miles and miles of great terrain, Granby is a snowmobiler's paradise.

Kremmling

Rabbit Ears Pass

Gore Pass

Spring Creek

Winter Park/Fraser, Colorado

The Winter Park and Fraser Snowmobile Trails are located in the Arapaho National Forest on the east and west side of Highway 40 near the towns of Fraser and Winter Park. The area offers a variety of riding, from trail riding to meadows, and steep mountain play areas.
